The Museum Selma is launching its new website.
Another step towards reality: Simultaneously with the release of the museum's name, this website goes online and presents the Museum Selma to the public for the first time.
The “website in progress” will accompany all further steps on the path to realizing the museum: from milestones in planning and implementation to exciting insights into the construction process, progress in the conceptual design, and all other news about the Museum Selma.
This website will continue to grow in the coming weeks, months, and years – just like the museum itself. For example, a feature for easy-to-understand language will be added in the coming weeks.
The creation of this website was supported by funds from the Landschaftsverband Rheinland (LVR).
The Museum Selma is the future nationwide migration museum, which is being created in Cologne on behalf of DOMiD in the coming years. It will show how migration has become part of German history and shapes our society today. The museum will open in 2029.
